The product range starts with simple, yet robust equipment suitable for school or college applications, with more specialised units available for University, industrial and research applications.

The range includes high shear homogenisers, overhead mixers, magnetic and hotplate magnetic stirrers, shakers and heated shakers, tube rollers and vortex mixers plus bottle top dispensers and ceramic pumps.

-The High-efficiency overhead stirrer range offers 9 electrical drive motors, this means there is a suitable drive for your application; Most offer built-in electronic speed controls and the option of digital speed display, with mixing speeds between 100 to 3,000 RPM. The larger motors are available with microprocessor controls and RS232 interfaces to allow independent computer control or the recording of absolute or relative torque or power output. The most powerful of our CAT overhead stirrers can mix up to 200 litres and produce 600 Ncm of torque, with an speed range of 10 – 500 RPM.

-The high shear homogenisers range with 7 electrical drive motors and 2 air driven units for hazardous areas, means there is a suitable drive for your application; Most offer built-in electronic speed controls and the option of digital speed display, with mixing speeds of up to 29,000 RPM. All CAT homogeniser shafts feature unique slanted rotor slots for better and faster processing efficiency without excessive heat build-up. Shafts available from 6 mm Dia to 42 mm Dia, as either sealed unit with ceramic seals for mixing under pressure or vacuum or fitted with Teflon bearing for mixing where aeration is not a problem.
A special pre-cutting rotor is available in all shaft sizes for homogenising stringy or fibrous materials.

-The Magnetic Stirrer and Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer range offers hotplates in Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Ceran®, most are microprocessor controlled and can offer fuzzy logic and RS232 interface.
The range starts with small fixed speed stirrers, up to industrial sized units capable of mixing 100 litres with microprocessor controls and fuzzy logic. We can offer a CAT unit to suit your application and keep within your budget.

High efficiency homogenisers

CAT offers a range of 9 drive motors, all supplied with variable speed control allowing the homogenising process to start at low speed without splashing. They differ in size, weight, power and maximum speed. Two of the seven electronic drives have integral liquid-crystal speed displays and there are two air driven units for hazardous areas.
